❓When should I book my hotel room?
We recommend booking as early as possible. Rooms are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, and booking early gives you the best chance of getting your preferred bed type and room configuration❓
❓How do I start my hotel reservation?
-
Enter your check-in and check-out dates.
-
You may see Sunday marked with an “X.” You can still select it and receive the discounted rate.
-
-
Please note there is a two-night minimum stay to avoid the No Stay Fee.
-
If you have trouble booking the nights you want, click directly on the dates and adjust them manually until your desired stay appears.
❓I see a message that says “Only one room left.” Should I worry?
No. Please ignore any “Only one room left” messages shown in red. This is an automatic message generated by the hotel’s system and is not accurate. We have multiple rooms reserved within our block.
❓How do I add roommate names or request adjoining rooms?
During the reservation process:
-
After entering your contact information, look for Reservation Details.
-
Open the “Special Requests” drop-down menu.
-
Enter the names of your roommates and request adjoining rooms if needed (such as for quartets).
❓I already booked my room. How do I add roommate names or request adjoining rooms?
Please call the hotel directly at 321-888-3693 using the phone number listed in your confirmation email.
❓My confirmation email lists parking and resort fees that look higher than expected. Is that correct?
Your confirmation email may list:
-
Parking: Self-parking $20 + tax per night; valet $45 + tax per night
-
Resort Fee: $48 + tax per night, plus 13.5% tax
For our group, parking is FREE, and the resort fee has been negotiated down to $20 + tax per night.
❓What is the No Stay Fee?
To secure a lower nightly rate, the region must meet a required hotel room quota. If a registrant chooses not to stay for the required two nights at the contest hotel, a No Stay Fee equal to one night’s stay ($199 + $20 resort fee) will apply.
The hotel provides a booking list that is cross-checked with contest registration. Any applicable fees will be billed to the chorus (or directly to CAL members).
❓Do you offer ADA-accessible showers?
Yes. If you need an ADA roll-in shower, please:
-
Make your hotel reservation first.
-
Then contact Bobbie Slack at bobbieslack9@outlook.com with your confirmation number and specific request.
Please note that roll-in showers are limited. However, all guest rooms feature step-in showers and no bathtubs, making them more accessible than traditional tub/shower combinations.
