Duly Noted started in 2019 as a young women’s quartet pursuing their dreams at the Rising Star competition in Manchester, England. They took England and the SAI world by storm and captured the title of Rising Star Champions!  They also secured a Wild Card spot and competed at the Sweet Adelines 2019 International Competition which was held in New Orleans, Louisiana in September. At the most recent Sweet Adelines International competition held in October, 2025, they were named the 3rd Place International medalists.

Dynasty quartet brings a heritage of harmony to the stage with a mom and daughter on lead and bass, and a baritone and tenor who both came from parents and grandparents who were barbershop singers.  With a focus on family love and laughter, Dynasty hopes to carry on the proud traditions of all those who have crossed the barbershop stage before them.  Dynasty is the 2024 Sweet Adelines International 2nd place finalist.

 No Curfew Quartet formed in 2022 and has competed in Region 9 and SAI Diamond Division contests. The quartet earned a 4th place medal in Region 9 in 2025, and placed 2nd at the 2025 Diamond Division contest. Although we are located in different parts of Florida, we are available for chapter shows and other singing opportunities.

SongBird Quartet got together in 2019 when Iris Christ (Lead) suggested the group learn “Song Bird,” a love song written by Eva Cassidy, to serenade Iris’s husband at his 80^th surprise birthday party. They decided to continue on together and named the quartet SongBird for sentimental reasons.

Iris and Marcia Cornell (Tenor) have sung together in various quartets since joining the Shore Notes in 2002. Iris moved to Hilton Head in 2000 from Cincinnati, and Marcia moved here in 1996 from Summit, NJ. Iris became the Musical Director of the Shore Notes in 2021. Sue Gordon (Baritone) moved from New Jersey, where she sang with Ramapo Valley Chorus for 15 years. She has been a Sweet Adeline for over 30 years and is a dual member of Song of Atlanta, which won Second Place in Sweet Adelines’ International Competition this past September in Kansas City, MO.  Betty Owen (Bass) retired to Beaufort from Myrtle Beach in 2016, where she sang with Grand Strand Harmony for over 20 years.

Three and a Half Men is a dynamic vocal quartet from Central Florida that brings a variety of musical styles to the scene. With backgrounds in barbershop, doo-wop, vocal jazz, and gospel music, the quartet enjoys a diverse repertoire and delivery. That said, Three and a Half Men is honored to be the 2024 Barbershop Harmony Society International Quartet Champions and 2023 Sunshine District Champions. Always looking for ways to enjoy harmony, the group is thrilled to have the opportunity to share its music any chance they get.

From their name, you might wonder where the other ‘half’ went.
